HOTEL EGERKINGEN AG

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS


1. General information

These General Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to contracts with Hotel Egerkingen AG, Oltnerstrasse 22, 4622 Egerkingen.


2. Reservation and confirmation

Reservations are confirmed to the customer in writing. The contract is concluded as soon as the signed reservation confirmation letter has been received by Hotel Egerkingen AG within the specified period.


3. Changes to reservations

The number of people confirmed in writing is a reference number for the provision of food and drinks. Hotel Egerkingen AG must be notified of changes to reservations in writing as early as possible. The exact number of participants/guests can be adjusted up to minus 10% of the confirmed number of people up to 2 working days (1 working day = 24 hours, Mon - Fri) before the event.


4. Cancellation conditions

The following conditions apply to cancellations

a) by the orderer/customer:

  • 8 or more working days before the event free of charge
  • 7 to 3 working days before the event 50% of the agreed room rent.
  • 7 to 3 working days before the event, 50% of the agreed menu price (food) and 50% of other additional costs.
  • Less than 3 working days before the event 100% of the agreed room rental, 100% of the agreed menu price (food) and 100% of other additional costs.


b) by Hotel Egerkingen AG:

Hotel Egerkingen AG reserves the right to cancel the reservation in the event of an emergency without being obliged to pay compensation. In this case, Hotel Egerkingen AG will endeavor to provide the customer with another room as a replacement if possible. If Hotel Egerkingen AG has reason to believe that the event booked by the customer endangers smooth business operations, safety or the reputation of the company, the event can be canceled without compensation.


5. No-Shows

No-Shows will be charged 100% (menu price and additional costs).


6. Special services

Special services of a technical or other nature require a certain amount of preparation time. In the event of cancellation, Hotel Egerkingen AG reserves the right to charge for the costs already incurred.


7. Prices / terms of payment

The prices stated in the reservation confirmation are decisive. For events that go on after midnight, a night surcharge of CHF 60.00 per employee and hour started, as well as additional costs for any permits, will be charged separately. The costs of the employees will be communicated in advance. The invoice amount is due for payment without deduction no later than 30 days after the invoice date. Hotel Egerkingen AG can request an advance payment of 20% from an offer amount of CHF 5,000.00.


8. tap fee

Hotel Egerkingen AG charges a tap fee of CHF 25.00 per 75cl bottle for wines and sparkling wines brought to the event.


9. Price change

Price adjustments and changes are expressly reserved. Deviations will be communicated to the organizer in writing. All prices are in CHF and include 8% VAT. In the event of a VAT change, prices will be adjusted accordingly.


10. Damage and liability

The customer must exercise all due care when using the rooms. Customers and organizers are liable for all property damage and personal injury, including any consequential damage, caused by themselves, agents and guests to Hotel Egerkingen AG, its employees or third parties during the stay. Hotel Egerkingen AG is released from any liability towards third parties in connection with events organized by the customer. Hotel Egerkingen AG is not liable for items brought in by the customer, his agents or guests. Any insurance is the responsibility of the customer.


11. Newspaper advertisements and other advertising

Newspaper advertisements and other advertising with reference to Hotel Egerkingen AG generally require the prior written consent of Hotel Egerkingen AG.


12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

These general terms and conditions and the contracts concluded on their basis are subject to Swiss law. Olten/SO is agreed as the place of performance and place of jurisdiction.
